A Christian ministry team

    The Nehemia Team has existed since 1986 (the year of founding Nehemia Team in Germany).   We are a Christian ministry team with the goal of making God’s kingdom known and of strengthening relationships between different Christian groups, organizations, churches and denominations, as well as between groups in the community.   We want to see people support and complement one other with their gifts and strengths.

    With our motto ‘Helping Others Grow’, we try to provide training, link-ups and support.   We particularly want to help leaders to get to know one another.  

Trainers and Encouragers

    It is on our hearts to train Christians from all denominations, and to encourage them to lead and take responsibility within their groups and organizations, both at church as well as in everyday life.

Our Name

    The name ‘Nehemiah’ originates from the Old Testament prophet Nehemiah.   Motivated by the love of God, he rebuilt the city wall of Jerusalem as a signal for the society of the time, and led the people back to a Godly lifestyle.   His name means ‘encourager’ or ‘comforter’.
