We are a team of committed Christians from various churches, denominations and countries.   The principal aim of our work is to build bridges, forge links and establish a network of relationships which will help Christians to carry out their commission in a more effective way, through increased cooperation.

Our mission is:

    To strengthen church and community through practical training and services.

    Our motto “Helping Others Grow” expresses the core of the heart of the Nehemia Team.   This idea was developed by John MacFarlane (who led the team until his death, in 2003) and was given expression through his life and ministry.

    Helping Others Grow – for us this has come to mean a wide range of activities in the area of training, support and link-ups, as well as in the area of humanitarian aid.   Since the establishment of the Nehemia Team in 1986 we have supported individuals and churches in a number of different ways.

    In Ukraine we work mainly in the region of Transcarpathia. NGO Nehemiah   was officially started in 1996 in Ukraine.
